Dr. Denise Cardo is a Brazilian infectious diseases doctor, director of the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and graduated from Escola Paulista de Medicina – Federal University of São Paulo (EPM-Unifesp). After a year working in the USA, she was personally invited to work at CDC, quickly rising to international recognition in one of the world’s largest and most influential health organization. The Division she directs is tasked with improving health care and dealing with emerging threats.
BRAINCOMS - Brazilian International Congress of Medical Students is a congress organized by medical students from the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp) - Escola Paulista de Medicina (EPM) with the support of Prof. Dr. José Osmar Medina Pestana.
Our goal is to provide future doctors a unique opportunity to learn from incredible internationally renowned speakers, practice their skills in workshops, build networks with other medical students from around the world and get in touch with sensitization activities.
In 2020, due to the Sars-Cov-2 (Covid-19) we've decided to create an
online free version of the congress,
with inspiring speeches
but without the practical workshops, coffee break and social events.
You can’t spend these 2 days in a better way!
Don’t waste this chance,
join us NOW!
In this edition, everyone is invited to take part in our congress!
You don't need to be a medical student! Everyone interested in health matters is invited.
Call your friends, family, neighbors and enjoy!
Due to the difficulties placed on the hospitals by the current pandemic,
all donations received during the WeBraincoms will be directed to our University’s hospital (HSP-UNIFESP)
to help fight Covid-19 pandemic.
